Come join us at Capron Elementary School tonight from 5-8pm!
There will be authentic Mexican food, dancing, and student presentations for all to enjoy!!

Principal

Mrs. Allison Louis: I am an Alumni and current resident of the North Boone School District. My husband, Dan, and I have two children, Maddy and Garrett, who attend school in the District. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Carroll College in 1996. My first teaching position was as a Junior High Science teacher at Capron and Poplar Grove Schools. I enjoyed working in the North Boone School District for fifteen years as a teacher and Student Services Coordinator/Counselor while earning my Master’s degree in School Counseling from Northern Illinois University in 2009 as well as my Master’s degree in School Administration from National Louis University in 2011. Once earning my Administrative degree, I worked as an Assistant Principal for four years from 2011-2015 in the Harlem and Rockford School Districts. I am excited to be back "home" in North Boone and am looking forward to my tenure as Principal at Capron Elementary School.
